About us

Built for the supports that need to land carefully, and quickly.

Bon Voyage Respites is a registered NDIS provider operating across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. We exist to make accommodation, rapid response and complex supports feel coordinated rather than chaotic.

Our mission

To be the team you call when it has to go right the first time.

We work with participants, families, support coordinators, hospitals and the NDIA to deliver supports that are clinically safe, plan compliant and genuinely person centred.

Dignity first

Every interaction is built around the participant's voice and choice.

Continuity of team

Consistent rosters and intentional matching, not last minute fills.

Clinical safety

Plans implemented as written, with reporting your team can rely on.

Clear pathways

Coordinated transitions from hospital, custody or unsafe placements.

Our story

Started by people who could not find the provider they needed.

Bon Voyage Respites began with three complex referrals that no one else would take. We took them. The model grew from there.

Our founders had spent years inside support coordination and hospital social work. They watched safe discharges fall apart because nobody owned the timeline, and placements break down because compatibility was an afterthought.

Bon Voyage Respites was built to fix exactly those failure points. Same business day intake. Named coordinators. Consistent rosters. Written handovers. Boring, in the best sense.

Today we operate across three cities, but we still pick up the phone the same way: one team, one number, one accountable person at the end of every referral.

How we work

The discipline that sits behind every placement.

Four operating principles that show up in every shift, every report and every referral.

We answer

A real human picks up the phone or replies the same business day. Always.

We document

Written handovers, written reports, written plans. Memory is not a method.

We staff for continuity

Two or three named regulars per home — not a roster of strangers.

We close the loop

Coordinators and families know what happened, why, and what is next.

Impact

What our operation looks like in numbers.

Voices

From the people we work with.

"Bon Voyage Respites turned around a hospital discharge in three days that another provider had been promising for two months. The participant has not been readmitted since."

Sarah M.

Support Coordinator · Melbourne

"The continuity of staff is what sets them apart. My son knows the team, the team knows my son, and the home runs without my phone going off at 9pm."

Daniel & Anh T.

Parents and nominees · Perth

"Their forensic disability stream is one of the few I can place complex referrals into with confidence. Reports come on time and read like a clinician wrote them."
PR

Priya R.

Forensic mental health team · Adelaide

"We were in a housing breakdown on a Friday afternoon. By Monday lunchtime our participant was settled into a Bon Voyage home with a roster already on the wall."
